Established in March 2002 with the approval of Liaoning Provincial Department of Justice, JT&N Shenyang Branch (“Shenyang Branch”) now has nine partners (four senior partners and five partners) 39 lawyers, assistant lawyers and secretaries averaging about 30 years of age. Four of these hold doctorate degrees, 16 hold master’s degrees or double bachelor’s degrees and 11 hold bachelor’s degrees with courses in laws and other disciplines. Some of the lawyers also hold degrees and professional titles in other fields. Shenyang Branch is graded as an “AAA Trustworthy Law Office” at the two levels of Liaoning Province and Shenyang city. It is an Advanced Unit of Liaoning Province in Party-Building Work among Lawyers, a member unit of the Expert Panel of Liaoning Province for Split-Share Reform and Listing Promotion, and a consultant unit of Liaoning Provincial Economic Committee for Enterprise Reform. It is the “Model Legal Practice” of Liaoning Province and the “Practice Base of Foreign-related Legal Talents” of Liaoning Institute of Economic Management Cadres. It was elected an advanced unit in 2007 and 2008 by the Shenyang Bureau of Justice with “first-rate performance in four aspects”. It won the “Shenyang Quality Legal Service Provider of the Year” award given by Shenyang Bureau of Justice in 2008, and was one of the first 10 law firms entered into the pool of bankruptcy administrators by the Shenyang Intermediate People’s Court.

In the selection of employees, we adhere to high standards focusing on knowledge structure, comprehensive quality and professional competence, with simultaneous consideration given to the rational age makeup of the employees and fostering of talents at various levels. We have now pooled the graduates from famous domestic and foreign universities, including the University of Glasgow, University of Aberdeen, University of Bournemouth and University of Northurmbia in Britain, Century University in the United States, Nankai University, Wuhan University, Jilin University, Tongji University, Zhejiang University, China University of Political Science and Law, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Wuhan University of Technology, Dalian Maritime University, Northeast University and Liaoning University. In our organizational structure, we have the business departments of corporate securities, finance and taxation, real estate, intellectual property, international affairs, litigation and arbitration based on the experience, knowledge structure and professional specialties of our staff. We also have the Department of Customer Service, Department of Administrative Affairs, Committee of Strategic Development and Committee of Business Guidance. In cultural development, we are firm in the belief that lawyers must be sincere with customers and adhere to laws. We also firmly believe in a human-oriented management philosophy, provide quality service, safeguard the rights and interests of customers, uphold social justice, and help build an environment of rule by law. With regard to service facilities, our office is on the 12th floor of Building No.1 of Shenyang Urban Plaza (Intercontinental Hotel) and we took the lead in the law firms in Liaoning in setting up a LAN and an online management platform that is connected with the head office, realizing paperless and remote office work. We target the top-level enterprises in Liaoning Province as our service objects, for which we provide high-quality, efficient and comprehensive legal services through the service mode of specialized division of work, and through the teamwork of lawyers, and on the basis of the strategic layout of the business network of JT&N.

We provide the permanent or special legal counsel of government departments, including the Economic Committee, the Office of Finance and Tourism Administration of Liaoning Province; the Office of Finance, the Bureau of Finance and Administration of Real Estate of Shenyang City; the Government of Fushun City and Shenhe District; public institutions, including the Education Foundation and the Research Institute of Behavioral Science of Liaoning Province; and the top-level enterprises of the Huachen family, Jinbei family, Jinshan family, Shenyang Machine Tool Co., Ltd., Songliao Automobile, Shanmeng Group, Sunlight 100 and Wuhai Group. We provide this service also to financial institutions including the China Construction Bank, China Merchants Bank, Bank of Communications, Agricultural Bank of China, Pudong Development Bank, China Everbright Bank, Guangdong Development Bank and Huaxia Bank. All our lawyers have provided comprehensive legal services that add value for the customers and made their due contributions to the revitalization of the Northeast and to the development of the enterprises and public institutions located in Shenyang and other parts of the province.
